120 hour TESOL Certification from International Open Academy $19
Having this certification may get you a higher salary if you have it before your interview. It says 120 hours but only takes about 4 hours to complete.
Hint: even if you haven’t finished it yet, tell them you have TESOL certification in your interview. You will not have to have the actual certificate until you have passed your mock class.

YoYo Chinese Lessons
Learn Mandarin in simple video based lessons. I took several of these before I went to China. I really need to sit down and do some more. I found it fascinating and it helped me understand what it’s like to learn a new language.
